Can I use my fonts in a logo or other commercial project? |
 |
Absolutely! In fact, we want you to use Fat Daddy Fonts in designs such as logos. Our full EULA can be read here. |
|
 |
Yes, all Fat Daddy Fonts are complete with numbers, punctuation and accent characters . Occasionally we substitute alternate characters in seldom used character slots. In these cases, an alternate guide will be visible on the individual font page to indicate where the alternates can be accessed. |
| How many computers can I install my fonts on? |
 |
Each license allows the fonts to be installed on up to 2 computers owned by you or your company at a single location. When purchasing multiple licenses, a 30% discounted rate is given. During checkout, just add the number of licenses you need to the "Licenses" box on the first page of the cart. The 30% discount will be automatically calculated. |
| Can I send the font file to a third party such as a printer or client? |
 |
| Under no circumstances can the font files be sent to a third party. If someone other than the licensee needs access to the font, a separate license must be purchased. Please embed the font into a PDF or convert the font to curves/outlines so the font is not necessary to view/print the design. |

| How do I convert text to vector outlines/curves? |
 |
By converting your fonts to vector outlines, there will never be a need to send the fonts with your document or embed them. This eliminates potential problems or mistakes when the document is printed.
Here is the method in some common programs. Make sure the text you want to convert is highlighted:
Adobe InDesign - Type > Create Outlines
Adobe Illustrator - Type > Create Outlines
CorelDraw - Arrange > Convert To Curves
QuarkXPress - Item > Convert Text To Boxes
Adobe Photoshop - Of course you cannot create vector outlines in Photoshop because it is not a vector program. In most cases you will not need to worry about converting text if you are sending the file in popular formats such as jpg, png, or gif. If you need to send the file as a Photoshop document with separate layers, simply right-click on the text layer and choose Rasterize Type. |
